Recombinant Bar Protein

The herbicide resistance gene (bar gene) is currently the most commonly used herbicide resistance gene and has been successfully used in crops such as wheat, rice, and corn. Cao, Fu and others connected the herbicide resistance gene bxn or bar and the male sterility gene TA29-barnase in series to construct a plant expression vector and introduced it into crops, achieving the maintenance of transgenic male sterile materials in crops. Huang et al. introduced the bar gene into the restorer line of three-line hybrid rice or two-line hybrid rice to produce hybrid rice seeds with herbicide resistance.
Recombinant herbicide resistance (Bar) protein is obtained by recombinant expression of the herbicide resistance gene (bar gene) and can be used for herbicide resistance detection, etc.
This product is made from a prokaryotic expression system (E.coli) containing a high-efficiency expression of Bar protein gene, which is fermented, separated and highly purified. The molecular weight is 23KDa.
