DSPE-PEG-Ald, MW 1,000 is a PEG polymer with hydrophilic phosphate head and hydrophobic lipid tails. The polymer can self-assemble to form lipid bilayer in water. The phospholipid polyPEG can be used as a drug nanocarrier for administration of nutrients and therapeutic drugs, such as liposome in mRNA or DNA vaccines.
