D-Mannose-[1-C-d] is the labelled analogue of D-Mannose. D-mannose plays an important role in the glycosylation of molecules. It is involved in N and O glycosylation of bovine. It is also used for the O-glycosylation of the T helper cell-derived cytokine interlukin-17A.
