Lapatinib (free base)
Lapatinib is a synthetic, oral quinazoline with potential antitumor activity. Lapatinib reversibly blocks phosphorylation of EGFR, ErbB2, Erk-1 and -2, and AKT kinase, and it also inhibits cyclin D protein levels in human tumor cell lines and xenografts.
