Human Anti-HIV-1 gp41 Recombinant Antibody (clone 43); scFv Fragment
Recombinant human antibody scFv fragment to gp41. 43 blocked transcytosis of primary R5 isolates from both B and C clades. 43 also neutralized macrophage infection of BaL strain similarly to 2F5 MAb. This Ab is suggested to recognize a conformationally conserved region.
