Peptidyl-Asp metalloendopeptidase (EC 3.4.24.33, endoproteinase Asp-N, peptidyl-Asp metalloproteinase) is an enzyme. This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction:Cleavage of Xaa-Asp, Xaa-Glu and Xaa-cysteic acid bonds. This metalloenzyme is isolated from Pseudomonas fragi.
