TB Prep Kit Red™, for TB specimen decontamination

A convenient specimen preparation kit for the processing of sputum specimens for Mycobacteria testing. The kit contains five 50ml TB Based Digestant - Red, five ready-to-use NALC reagents, and detailed instructions for their use. The components of the kit comply with the CLSI guidelines. A pH indicator is used to ensure that the proper pH is maintained throughtout the decontamination procedure. Turns clear when final proper pH is achieved. The kit does not contain phosphate buffer for the neutralization step of the procedure. Phosphate Buffer rinse can be purchased separately using the following catalog numbers:
