Tenuifoliside A is extracted from the roots of Polygala tenuifolia. It might be mediated through BDNF/TrkB-ERK/PI3K-CREB signaling pathway in C6 glioma cells. It exhibit cytoprotective effects on neuronal cells. It may be responsible for the cytoprotective activity effects.
