Recombinant Human Sp1 Transcription Factor

SP1 belongs to the family of zinc finger DNA binding proteins in mammalian cells. This protein mediates transcriptional activity through specific DNA sequences that are found in a number of viral and cellular gene promoters. SP1 has been shown to associate with other mammalian gene coactivator proteins to regulate gene transcription.
