4-Methylumbelliferyl sulfate potassium salt
4-Methylumbelliferyl sulfate potassium salt is a fluorogenic substrate used for monitoring aryl sulfatase activity. It is cleaved by sulfatase and releases the fluorescent moiety emitting blue fluorescence. This compound has been used in the discovery of tyrosine sulfotransferase inhibitors, particularly in P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 binding.
