Seco-rapamycin is the first in vivo open-ring metabolite of rapamycin which is a natural macrolide immunosuppressant. Seco-rapamycin inhibits the ChT-L (D) and PGPH (E) peptidases, and activate the T-L (F) peptidase and poorly activates mTOR.
