ML-365

ML-365 is a potent and novel selective small molecule inhibitor of TASK1 with IC50 of 4 nM(thallium influx fluorescent assay) and 16 nM(automated electrophysiology assay). It possesses more than 60-fold selectivity for inhibition of TASK1 over TASK3. It displays little or no inhibition at 30 μM of more distantly related Kir2.1, voltage-gated potassium channel, KQT-like subfamily, member 2 (KCNQ2) and human ether-a go-go-related gene (hERG). It is a useful pharmacological probe for in vitro studies of TASK1 function. It mainly aimed at developing therapeutic intervention in further studies.
