Patidegip is an orally bioavailable, cyclopamine-derived Hedgehog (Hh) pathway inhibitor with potential anti-tumor activity. Specifically, the Hedgehog pathway inhibitor IPI-926 binds to and inhibits the cellular transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor SMO, which may lead to inhibition of Hh pathway signaling and reduced tumor cell proliferation and survival.
