Polysorbate

Polysorbate is an oily, clear liquid with a yellow to light brown color. It has very good solubility in water and polar solvents such as anhydrous ethanol, ethyl acetate or methanol. In addition, the product is practically insoluble in fatty oils and liquid paraffins.
