Pioglitazone potassium salt
Pioglitazone is a PPARγ agonist (EC50 = ~500-600 nM) with selectivity for PPARγ over PPARα. It has been used as a medication indicated for the treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2, It works by lowering insulin resistance thus reducing glucose level.
