8-Hydroxypinoresinol
8-Hydroxypinoresinol is purified from the herbs of Rosa multiflora Thunberg. 8-hydroxypinoresinol significantly reduces the cell injury by 3-morpholinosydnonimine (SIN-1), a ONOO− generator which may be useful for the therapeutic or preventive applications in treating ONOO−-related diseases. 8-hydroxypinoresinol has antioxidant activity.
