5-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxan-5-ol
5-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxan-5-ol is an intermediate in the synthesis of 2-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)-1,2,3-propanetriol (D448105) which is used as a reagent in the synthesis of glycerol derivatives as intermediates for antifungal phenyltriazolylpropanediol derivatives. Also an impurity of the antifungal agent Fluconazole (F421000).
