Naphthofluorescein di-O-(b-D-galactopyranoside)

Naphthofluorescein di-O-(b-D-galactopyranoside) is a fluorogenic substrate used in biomedical research to detect and quantify the activity of galactosidase enzymes in biological samples. It is also used in the study of genetic disorders, such as Fabry disease, which causes a deficiency of alpha-galactosidase enzyme activity.
