PD0166285 is a potent Wee1 inhibitor and Chk1 inhibitor active at nanomolar concentrations. PD0166285 Elimination of the G2 checkpoint was shown to kill cancer cells, with toxicity up to 0.5 μM in some cell lines at exposure times of 6 hours or less. Dysregulation of cell cycle progression may ultimately harm cancer cells.
