Carbetocin acetate
Carbetocin is an oxytocin receptor agonist and a peptide analog of oxytocin. It selectively binds to oxytocin receptors over vasopressin V2 receptors. Carbetocin induces contraction of isolated rat uterine strips and inhibits oxytocin-induced contraction of isolated rat uterine strips.
