4-Hydroxyphthalic Acid
4-Hydroxyphthalic Acid (CAS# 610-35-5) is used as a reagent in the synthesis of diester-substituted aminocyclopropanes which are used in (3+2)-annulation reactions. It may also be used in the synthesis of 2-Substituted Phthalimides in one step proving to be fast, convenient and economical. 4-Hydroxyphthalic Acid may be found in soil humus.
