N-[(2,4-Difluorophenyl)methyl]-2,4-difluoro-benzenemethanamine is derived from 2,4-Difluorobenzylamine (D45085), which acts as a reagent for the design of pyrazole derivatives as non-nucleoside heptatitis B virus inhibitors. It is also used as a reagent in the preparation, HIV antiviral activity, SAR, and molecular modelling of hydroxypyridonecarboxylic acids as HIV reverse transcriptase inhibitors.
