Alclometasone is synthetic glucocorticoid steroid for topical use in dermatology as anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, antiallergic, antiproliferative and vasoconstrictive agent. The prodrug alclometasone dipropionate is marketed as Aclovate by GlaxoSmithKline.
