Cuspin-1
Cuspin-1 is an upregulator of the Survival of Motor Neuron protein (SMN; EC50 value 18 μM in SMA patient fibroblast cells). Increased phosphorylation of ERK initiates Ras-Raf-MEK signaling, upregulating SMN protein levels in spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) patient fibroblasts.
