16,17-Didehydro-19β-methyl-18-oxayohimban-16-carboxylic acid methyl ester
Mayumbine is a heteroyohimbine extracted from auwolfia vomitoria. Mayumbine was shown to suppress the in vitro binding of 3H-diazepam to the benzodiazepine sites within the rat GABAA receptor complex (IC50 = 76 ± 3.5 nM).
