Hydroxypioglitazone (M-IV) hydrochloride
Hydroxypioglitazone (M-IV) hydrochloride is the salt of an active metabolite of Pioglitazone (M-IV), a PPARĪ³ agonist used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2. In comparison with Pioglitazone, it has modest antihyperglycemic activity and more potent stimulating activity in lipid synthesis.
