Fatostatin A
Fatostatin (125B11) is an inhibitor of SREBP activation and prevents SCAP-mediated escort of SREBP-1 or SREBP-2 to the Golgi (IC50 = 5.6 µM). Fatostatin has anti-tumor properties and can reduce hyperglycemia in ob/ob mice.
