Palmitic acid-PEG4-NHS ester is a saturated long-chain fatty acid with a 16-carbon backbone and a PEG likner connected to a terminal NHS ester. The NHS ester can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules.
