Ester Gum

Ester Gum (or glycerol ester of wood rosin), CAS 8050-30-4, is a glycerol ester, available as Hard, yellow to pale amber-colored resin. Ester Gum is widely used as thickening agent and texture stabilizer in chewing gum and ice cream. It is widely accepted as safe food additive in many countries with E number E445.
