L-365,260 is a nonpeptide cholecystokinin receptor 2 (CCK2/CCKB) antagonist. It selectively binds to gastrin and CCK2 sites to reduce basal acid secretion, and prevent gastrointestinal damage in models of peptic ulcer disease.
