Glycocholic acid-2,2,4,4-[d4] 3-sulfate disodium salt is the labelled analogue of Glycocholic acid 3-sulfate disodium salt. Glycocholic Acid is a coupling product of cholic Acid and glycine. It is the main component of the bile of herbivores. In the weakly alkaline bile fluid glycocholic acid exists as the sodium salt.
