VACUOLIN-1
Vacuolin-1 is a cell-permeable inhibitor that potently and reversibly inhibits the fusion between autophagosomes and lysosomes in mammalian cells, thereby inducing the accumulation of autophagosomes. Vacuolin-1 is also a PIKfyve inhibitor, which inhibits autophagy by impairing lysosomal maturation via PIKfyve inhibition.
