Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (ANP) (1-28), rat TFA is a 28 amino acid peptide corresponding to the rat protein sequence. It is an endogenous peptide synthesized in myoendocrine cells of the heart from which it is released into the circulation. It has effects on the renal and cardiovascular systems that decrease vasoconstriction, increase sodium excretion and inhibit renin secretion.
