CDPPB is a mGluR5 positive allosteric modulator. CDPPB has been shown to have positive therapeutic effects for cognitive deficits in schizophrenia and pathology in Huntington's disease, without stimulating to evoke seizures. CDPPB as well as other PAM's have potential to be nootropic drugs that enhance learning and cognitive processes, including with respect to ASD.
