An impurity of Ezetimibe. Ezetimibe inhibits intestinal cholesterol absorption by preventing cholesterol uptake by the Niemann-Pick C1-like 1 (NPC1L17) protein, a cholesterol transporter located in the apical membrane of enterocytes.
