Cefoxitin Sodium

Cefoxitin sodium is a cephalosporin antibiotic, which is produced by Streptomyceslactamdurans. It is a new class of antibiotics prepared by semi-synthesis. Its parent nucleus is similar to cephalosporin, and its antibacterial properties are similar. It is also traditionally included in the second generation of cephalosporins.
