AS-604850 is a selective PI3Kγ inhibitor that can significantly reduce the number of infiltrating leukocytes in the central nervous system and improve clinical symptoms in EAE mice. Treatment with this PI3Kγ inhibitor enhanced myelination and axonal number in the spinal cord of EAE mice.
