Nervonic ceramide-[d7]
Nervonic ceramide-[d7] is the labelled analog of nervonic ceramide, which is a naturally occurring ceramide. Ceramides mediate a lot of different biological activities. A few of the processes regulated by ceramides include apoptosis, cell differentiation, proliferation of smooth muscle cells, and inhibition of the mitochondrial respiratory chain.
