1,6-Dihydro-1-methyl-5-(2-propoxyphenyl)-3-propyl-7H-pyrazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidine-7-thione is an intermediate in the synthesis of analogues of Thiosildenafil (T371500). Propoxyphenyl-thiosildenafil has been used in the preparation of novel pyrazolopyrimidinethiones as PDE5 inhibitors for treating erectile dysfunction.
