S-Propargyl-Cysteine
S-Propargyl-cysteine (SPRC) is a modulator of endogenous hydrogen disulfide (H2S) with antioxidant activity. SPRC is potentially used for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (TNF signaling, the NF-κB pathway and the ERK1/2 pathway), anemia of inflammation (IL-6/JAK2/STAT3 pathway), ischemic heart disease (H2S/VEGFR2/STAT3 pathway) and myocardial infarction.
