L-Phenylephrine
L-Phenylephrine is an α1 adrenergic receptor agonist (Ki = 1.4 µM) with selectivity for α1A over α1B and α1C receptor subtypes (Ki = 1.4, 23.9 and 47.8 µM, respectively). L-Phenylephrine has been used as a cardiotonic drug, mydriatic agent, vasoconstrictor agent, sympathomimetic agent and nasal decongestant.
