2-Fluoro palmitic acid
2-Fluoropalmitic acid inhibits sphingosine biosynthesis and long-chain acyl-CoA synthetase. The length of the carbon chain of the fatty acid species defines the substrate specificity for the different acyl-CoA synthetases (ACS).
