Quinapril EP Impurity D
Quinapril EP Impurity D is a derivative and a metabolite of Quinapril that acts as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It prevents the conversion of signaling peptide angiotensin I into angiotensin II, which acts as a potent vasoconstrictor. It reduces levels of angiotensin II and also reduces the amount of aldosterone that is expressed due to RAAS signaling.
