Human Anti-SLC40A1 Recombinant Antibody (clone 4A10-3); Fab Fragment
This is an affinity matured, humanized antibody that binds to and inhibits human FPN1. Mabs 4A10-3 significantly bound to human FPN1 expressing HEK 293 cells but not to the control HEK 293 cells. It is effective in maintaining the transport of iron out of mammalian cells and increasing the level of serum iron, reticulocyte count, red blood cell count, hemoglobin, and hematocrit in a subject in vivo.
