Capivasertib
AZD5363, also known as Capivasertib, is an oral serine/threonine protein kinase AKT inhibitor with potential anti-tumor activity. The AKT inhibitor AZD5363 binds and inhibits all AKT isoforms. Inhibition of AKT prevents phosphorylation of AKT substrates, which mediates cellular processes such as cell division, apoptosis, and glucose and fatty acid metabolism.
