Recombinant Mouse Antibody (E18) is capable of binding to EV71 VP1, expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). E18 binding to EV71 may indirectly provide a description of a mechanism by which picornavirus receptors that bind outside of the canyon induce genome release.
