Vitamin E (VE) Assay Kit is an assay kit for the detection and quantification of Vitamin E concentrations in serum, plasma and tissue homogenates using a spectrophotometer. Fe3+ can be deoxidized to Fe2+ by vitamin E in the presence of ferroin. Fe2+ can react with phenanthroline and form pink compound under specific conditions. The vitamin E concentration can be calculated by measuring the OD value at 532 nm.
