3-Chloro-1-(4-(3-oxo-3-phenylpropyl)phenyl)propan-1-one is a reagent in the synthesis of Imigliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. In addition its a reagent in the synthesis of mexedrone, a monoamine transporter.
