The Il1b gene is located on mouse chromosome 2. Seven exons are identified, with the ATG start codon in exon 2 and the TAA stop codon in exon 7. Exon 2~7 will be selected as target site. Cas9 and gRNA will be co-injected into fertilized eggs for KO mouse production.
