Strongly acidic styrene-based cation exchange resin is a cation exchange resin with a sulfonic acid group on a copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene crosslinked at 8%, and its acidity is comparable to that of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and other inorganic acids, and it displays ion exchange functions in alkaline, neutral, and even acidic media.
